Ladies Ministry
Our ladies ministry provides opportunities for women of all ages to fellowship, grow in faith, and reach out to community and beyond. This is done through monthly Ladies Night which includes Bible study, prayer, crafts, cooking outreach, and guest speakers. At all ladies events childcare and refreshments are provided unless otherwise noted.
Some ways that our ladies are making a difference are through the following ministries:
Ray Of Hope
Once a quarter our ladies partner with Ray of Hope, our local pregnancy care center, to offer trainings of various kinds to their clients in order to better provide for their families and learn about Jesus.
International Missions Night
Our ladies put together a night of celebrating and educating ourselves on missions efforts around the globe.
Operation Christmas Child
This year 165 children received boxes from Shelbina FBC and, most importantly, the opportunity to hear the gospel message!
Freezer Meal Night
The Freezer meal night is a night full of fun and fellowship as our ladies work together to make quick and easy meals to better be able to serve our families.
School Teacher Appreciation
Each semester, our church puts together a "goodie-basket" full of treats to show our appreciation and to be a blessing to our local school system.
Bible Study
Occasional multi-week Bible studies are led by the ladies ministry. Participants may choose to attend every week or attend as they can.
FBC Ladies Ministry works to support outreach by our church, such as Vacation Bible School, Community Care Day, and other opportunities as they present themselves. If you have a project you need help with, or a personal need, please contact the church office.
